FEES AND REIMBURSEMENT
YOUTH FEES
Effective January 1, 2014
Annual Registration Fee due October 1 or when joining
- Renewing Scouts: $100 annual dues
- New Scouts: $75 for troop-provided materials PLUS $7.50 per month (or part of a month) until October 1.
- Explanation: $7.50 is our regular $100 annual dues amount divided by 12 months.
Upon joining, the Troop provides the following materials:
- 1 pair shoulder loops
- 1 Scout Handbook
- 1 handbook cover
- 1 knot tying kit
- 1 purple neckerchief
- 1 neckerchief slide
- 1 patrol patch
- 1 unit number/veteran unit patch
- 1 SHAC patch
- 1 world crest patch
- 1 world crest ring
- 1 Troop tee shirt
- 1 name tape
Crew 11 Only
- $50 – For older youth not working on Eagle or Eagle Palms.
Both Troop 11 & Crew 11
- $100 – Dual Registration for older youth working on Eagle or Eagle Palms.
- Basic Overnight Outing and Activity Fee:
- $50
Special events or activities may require additional fees
Family Campouts:
- $50 per scout.
- No charge for family members
- Special events or activities may require additional fees
Summer Camp:
- Cost depends on camp selected
- Around $750
Winter Camp:
- Cost depends on camp selected
- Around $400 plus transportation
Spring Break:
- Total actual cost per person
- Around $750-$1,000 including transportation
High Adventure Trips:
- Total actual cost per person
- Around $2,500 including transportation
ADULT FEES
Adult Leader Registration Fee:
- No cost
Weekend Campout Fee:
- No cost
- By tradition, Troop 11 adults volunteer to provide meals for each other and do not pay or collect money for food.
- If an adult eats with a patrol as an assigned ASM, he may pay a $10 fee to cover the food cost.
- Special events or activities may require fees for adults.
Family Campouts:
- Cost outlined in the trip information
Summer Camp:
- No cost
Winter Camp:
- No cost.
Spring Break and High Adventure Trips:
- Total actual cost per person.
OTHER
Patrol Food Budget Amount:
- $15 per scout per weekend campout (including crackerbarrel)
Mileage Reimbursement Rates:
- Scoutmaster: 25 cents per mile
- Person-in-Charge: 25 cents per mile
- Special Driver: 25 cents per mile
- Vehicle Pulling Troop or Canoe Trailer: 50 cents per mile
